JLS record song for Children In Need

British boyband JLS are to release their next single as the Official Children In Need song.  The soulful ballad, written by the lads, is called 'Love You More', and is released on 14th November.  The smooth lyrics and the sweet melody will melt hearts all over the country.  The video, shot in L.A., is filmed in black and white and oozes the class, style and talent that these four handsome gentlemen possess.

The Club is Alive with the sound of JLS

It is amazing how much can be achieved in such a small space of time.  British boyband JLS are living proof of this.  Just over a year ago, they stormed the charts with Beat Again.  It went straight to number 1 and was the fastest selling debut single of the year.  Now, they are Britain's biggest boyband, with a bunch of trophies and a devoted fanbase to prove it.

The nation first became hooked on the 4 strapping lads (Aston, JB, Marvin, and Oritse) when they auditioned on the TV program The X Factor.  Popular after their first performance, the audience watched the group get stronger as the weeks went by.  Sadly, but not regrettably, the boys lost the competition finishing in second place, but they never lost sight of the grand prize.  Success was on the horizon.  The boys signed to Epic Records and worked hard to produce a sensational first album.

After the success of Beat Again, it became clear that these boys were more than just pretty faces.  A talented foursome, all with drive and ambition.  More success was to come with their second single Everybody In Love, followed by their self titled album, both going straight into the charts at number 1.

Their hard work and perserverance was acknowledged with 2 BRIT Awards (British Breakthrough and British Single) and 2 MOBO Awards (Best Single and Best Newcomer).

JLS staged a sell out tour earlier this year which, having been myself, had a phenomenal atmosphere.  The chants of 'JLS' by the loyal fans, and the sea of 'JLS' hooded tops, was a sensational vision.  The lads perform with energy, verve and sheer enthusiasm.  Their efforts are visible in the show give.  They make every attempt to stay in close touch with their fans, and their evident gratitude and appreciation yields them more love, homage and adoration.

The year ahead is set to be another big one for JLS.  The first single, The Club Is Alive, which is from the band's second album, also yielded a number one position in the charts.  This sets them in good stead for another successful album release.

They may have finished second in a talent show, but they are definitely winning now.  Everybody is in love with the sound of JLS.

The rhythm of Bluey

My favourite 'one to watch' of the moment is the 21 year old soul child, Bluey Robinson. If you don't know his name, you should familiarise yourself with it; he's going to be the next big thing.
This young man needs no frills to prove his worth. Just hand him a microphone, and watch the magic unfold. Clips on YouTube show Bluey singing his heart out on the London Underground, the Paris Metro and the New York Subway. The passers by are lucky enough to experience his serenading voice first hand.

He took to the main stage at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park earlier this month. He stormed onto the stage to a Bob Marley classic, and did the song as much justice as a Marley would have done. The audience went wild. Also performed were the hits 'Use Somebody' and 'Rock With You', which threw the crowd into the kind of frenzy that only a well known artist could. The combination of these anthems, with Bluey's own music (including his single 'I Know'), accelerated the already elevated atmosphere. If you were unfortunate enough to miss this spectacle, you can experience the moment digitally!

It was a real pleasure to meet Bluey; a polite, well mannered, gentleman. Having met him a few times, it is clear to see that music is his life, and he has an admirable and inspirational attitude towards following his dream. On stage, his performances ooze confidence, yet, almost surprisingly, there are no signs of arrogance. He shows effortless talent but is not complacent and realises the need to work hard. It is evident that Bluey is not a fame hunter, he has a real passion for music and performing; a true musician.
